Once upon a time I watched the movie "Valentine's Day", saw Jennifer Garner's character don this handbag throughout the movie, and instantly fell in love. And even though this perfect, precious lovebug of a bag is the quintessential chunky tote, it is far from affordable. Unfortunately, this type of love that I am in with the Marc by Marc Jacobs bag is unrequited. Sigh.

But I just stumbled across this new-ish book from Elizabeth Gilbert and am so excited to pick up a copy! "Eat, Pray, Love" was so-so, but I enjoyed "Stern Men" and feel as though this new book was written for people just like myself, so I might just have to take a trip to the library, seeing as how I am too broke to go buy it. But regardless, I will read it!

You know what? Somehow it's already Monday. I don't know about you, but I'm not quite sure where my weekend went. It zoomed off to the weekend afterlife without telling me. Oh well. Anyway, somehow, on the MIA weekend, I jumped on the snake bandwagon.

So in other words I've become obsessed with snake-print, snake design, snake whatever. Just not real snakeskin.

Anyhow, crazy about these earrings, and equally crazy about a fabulous citron snakeskin envelope clutch I discovered in Cole Haan this weekend. Totally going to try and find it online to show you guys. Ugh. Love.

Given that it's Monday and I've just downed an entire cup of coffee without even realizing I was drinking it, I think it's time to set my sights on something else.
